Story Contracting’s Rail division is building for the future by expanding its team in the Eastern region.
Vacancies across a range of disciplines including project management, commercial and site supervisor roles are amongst those to be advertised from 14 September 2020 as part of a recruitment drive at Story Contracting, an award-winning civil engineering and infrastructure company.
The business – which has offices in York and Normanton– is currently looking to recruit Project Agents, Site Managers, Gangers/Foremen and an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, to help support the growing work bank in the region.
Currently, the Rail division’s Eastern team are delivering a five-year Network Rail framework contract to carry out geotechnical work on the London North Eastern route over Control Period 6 (CP6), in conjunction with delivering other key projects for Network Rail and more traditional civils sector.
Daniel Jones, Contracts Manager, heads up the delivery of the CP6 frameworks. He said: “There’s never been a more exciting time to join Story’s Eastern team; you’ll play a crucial role in transforming one of England’s main rail routes on behalf of Network Rail.
“Over the past 12 months, we have seen significant growth within the Eastern region, and this presents us with an opportunity to recruit and expand our dynamic and ambitious team.”
