What we do

Structures

We have a wealth of experience in delivering structures projects throughout LNW, LNE and Scotland, including the refurbishment and reconstruction of Underbridges, Overbridges, Footbridges and structure infills. Our skills expand into steel work repairs, preparation and re-painting and all associated ancillary works.

Track

We deliver all types of permanent way from full renewals including plain line, S&C, slab, track and embedded crane rails, including refurbishment and route works. Our experienced team and in-house plant carry out this full scope of works from planning to hand back on both main line and depot projects.

Our team has a wealth of experience in carrying out a full range of geo-technical projects including full earthwork regrades, rock and soil cuttings, piling, ballast retention & retaining walls and on & off track drainage. We offer a full design and build service combined with a proactive solution focussed approach.

We have the resource and capability to deliver successful property works with experience in station refurbishment works, platform refurbishment and extension, Access For All scheme projects and refurbishment of footbridges.

Horden Station

Works to design and build a new railway station in Horden on behalf of Network Rail and Durham County Council.

Bicester Underbridges

Working alongside Network Rail on a project to deliver two brand new underbridge structures in Bicester for Oxfordshire County Council.

Hessle Foreshore Stabilisation

Story Contracting were commissioned by Network Rail to install a 137m length contiguous piled wall to stabilise the embankment supporting the Hull to Selby railway line.
