Located in East Fife the Leven project, part of a larger reconnect project delivered by Transport Scotland, was designed to level up outlying communities with better travel links to via the railway.
Story delivered two new railway stations with associated car parks and infrastructure, three new footbridges, eight structures refurbished on track, on track mining remediation works at Cameron Bridge and Diageo and OLE foundations for future electrification.
Active travel routes were also created to assist with communities to walk or cycle to their chosen railway stations.
Through the use of Story Drones, the team were able to complete route wide surveys on a regular basis providing progress updates, detailed topographical surveys for temporary works and crane pad designs, and area calculations for commercial reconciliations.
