Story Contracting are holding an Open Day in a bid to strengthen the company’s bank of casual RRV Operators.
If you have any experience of operating a civils machine we would love to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity to meet members of the Plant and Training team and test your skills in an RRV at the Babcock Training Facility in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.
Rob Cairns, Plant Regional Manager (Scotland) said: “As a business, we’re constantly looking at what the future holds for each area of our operations from plant and equipment through to the resource. With the increasing requirement for RRV operators at weekends, we must be strategic in how we attract casual RRV operators and are keen to open out the opportunity to anyone to come along and test their skills in an RRV in a controlled environment.
“The open day is a great opportunity for anyone who has any experience of operating a civils machine to come along and be assessed on an RRV. If successful, they will be offered the opportunity to join our great team of casual operators and receive full RRV training. Working on a casual basis offers flexibility and can fit in around any other commitments such as work, study or family.”
Adhering to Government COVID-19 guidelines, individual time slots will be allocated and social distancing will be maintained at all times. Additionally, temperatures will be taken before each slot and time will be factored between the slots to sanitise machines.
The RRV Open Day will be held on Saturday 31st October 2020. To register your interest please email: openday@storycontracting.com
