We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join our Team. The role will initially be located in Birmingham City Centre with planned relocation out of the city to Tamworth from July 2025.
The Role
To lead and manage the complete production of tender submissions to the highest possible standard to win work. Assist with the development of a tendering strategy to align with the business strategy for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Successfully lead the estimate production for your allocated workflow
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation throughout the tender process.
- Lead and promote a client focused culture throughout the estimating function.
- Lead and develop junior members of the estimating team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Typically, HNC qualified in civil engineering/rail or 5+ years’ on-site experience.
- IT skills Windows Office suite to experienced level.
- Suitable industry experience.
- Estimating experience at senior level.
- Be confident, dynamic, willing to learn with leadership skills.
- Analytical person with attention to detail a must.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Presentation skills to audiences such as clients, colleagues, and executive team.
