We have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Desk Team Leader to begin their story as part of our Plant Services team based in our Head Office, Carlisle. We are looking for someone who embodies our values of being hardworking, grounded, and proud of the work they do.
The right candidate will need to be detail orientated, customer focused, possess strong organisational skills and be proactive in their approach. Key parts of the role will include ensuring the efficient organisation of external Plant hire for our internal and external customers, liaising with suppliers to ensure appropriate agreements are in place and ensuring all orders are processed in line with systems and process.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of hire desk and amending supplier agreements
- Good knowledge of large and small plant
- Proven leadership skills and coaching to colleagues
- The ability to build rapport and strong relationships quickly with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Excellent administrative and IT skills – particularly Microsoft packages and procurement systems
- The ability to analyse data and report anomalies
- A UK driving licence and ability to travel to key client and suppliers regularly
